             On the back of the aforegoing Deed is thus Endorst

April 8 1727 Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Ldps
          Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Christopher
          Gardner and acknowledged the within Deed and the land and
          Premises therein Contained to be the right and Estate of the
          within mentioned Philip Hammond his heirs and assignes
          for ever according to the true intent and meaning thereof and
          the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided

          38.th year of the Dominion of Cæcilius Absolute Lord & Proprietary
          of y.e provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore
          &.r Annoq Dom one thousand six hundred and seaventy
vide Judg.r  Between John Nutthall of the County of S.t Maries in y.e province
Records II    of Maryland Gent of y.e one part & James Nutthall of y.e same
fol 131          County and province afores.d Planter of the other part Wittnesseth
          that the said John Nuthall for & in Consideration
          of twelve thousand pounds of good Tobacco in Cask to him in hand
          paid by the said James Nutthall y.e Receipt whereof the said
          John Nuthall doth hereby acknowledge & thereof and of every pt
          parcell thereof Doth hereby Absolutely & Clearly Exonerate
          Acquitt & Discharge y.e s.d James Nutthall his heirs Executors
          Administrators & Assignes for ever By these presents hath Given
          granted Bargained Aliened Sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these
          presents doth fully Clearly & Absolutely give grant Bargaine
          Sell Alien Enfeoff & Confirme unto him the said James Nuthall
          his heirs & Assignes for ever all that parcel & tract of Land w.ch
