(House Bill 279)
AN ACT to legalize the 1969 Cumulative Pocket Supplement to the
Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland (1957 Edi-
tion), prepared and published by the Editorial Staff of The
Michie Company, Charlottesville, Virginia, and making it evi-
dence of the law.
Whereas, By Chapter 23 of the Acts of 1957, the General Assem-
bly legalized and made evidence of the law the 1957 Edition of the
Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland published
by The Michie Company; and
Whereas, Successive annual supplements to this Code have been
published by The Michie Company and legalized by the General As-
sembly; and
Whereas, Another Supplement to that Code, to be known as the
1969 Cumulative Pocket Supplement and to contain the Public Gen-
eral Laws enacted following 1957 and up to and including the 1969
Regular Session of the General Assembly, except as to these laws
already included in replacement volumes, is to be prepared and pub-
lished by the Editorial Staff of The Michie Company; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1969 Cumulative Pocket Supplement to the Annotated
Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland (1957 Edition), pre-
pared, and published by the Editorial Staff of The Michie Company,
Charlottesville, Virginia, be and the same is hereby legalized and
made evidence of the Public General Laws enacted following 1957
and up to and including the 1969 Regular Session of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, except as to these laws already included in re-
placement volumes, it shall be deemed and taken as such in all of the
Courts of this State and by all Justices of the Peace, Trial Magistrates,
and all other public officials of the State and of its political subdi-
visions.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

(House Bill 282)
AN ACT to add new Section 113A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Calvert County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle
"Circuit Court," to be under the new subheading "Stenographers,"
to follow immediately after Section 113 thereof, relating to the
authorization, number, qualifications, and salary of the secretaries
appointed by the Judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit resident
