CHAPTER 49
(House Bill 153)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 108 of
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of Baltimore
City," to correct an error in said section as it relates to a reference
to Section 109 of Article 26.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal
Court of Baltimore City," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

108.

Said court shall be divided in two divisions, the criminal division
and the traffic division. The divisions of the court shall sit in such
number of parts, including one housing part in the criminal division,
as the court may from time to time determine. All offenses arising
under paragraph 109, subsection (a), sub-subsection [(24)] (47),
of this subtitle shall be tried in the traffic division of said court. All
offenses involving violations of ordinances of the mayor and city
council of Baltimore or acts of the General Assembly regulating
building, weights and measures, zoning, health, or sanitary matters,
within the jurisdiction of the court, shall be tried in the housing part
of the criminal division of said court. AH other offenses within the
jurisdiction of said court shall be tried in the remaining parts of
the criminal division.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 50
(House Bill 320)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 198 of
Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume), title "Chancery," subtitle "Trustee," to allow a non-
corporate fiduciary to register securities in the name of a nominee
in the absence of a contrary provision in the instrument under
which he acts and to allow any fiduciary so to register securities
without court order if permitted to do so by the terms of the instru-
ment under which he acts.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 198 of Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Chancery," subtitle "Trustee," be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
