(1)   Within 100 yards of any commercially productive oyster area,
a seed or shell planting, which may now exist or as may from time
to time be established by survey or resurvey of the Commission of
the Department of Chesapeake Bay Affairs; and the Department of
Research and Education;

(2)   Within five hundred (500) yards of any occupied duck blind
where decoys are set out, during the legal waterfowl hunting season;

(3)   Within 100 yards of any bulkhead, wharf, pier structure or
appurtenance constructed or erected in, out in, over or under any of
the waters of Dorchester County, whenever said bulkhead, wharf,
pier or structure has been erected or built by virtue of a properly
authorized permit issued by the Corps of Engineers, Department of
the Army;

(4) Within one thousand (1,000) feet of any public bathing beach
at anytime of the year;

(5)   Within one hundred (100) yards of any private bathing beach
at anytime of the year; provided that the private bathing beach is
staked and marked by the owners thereof by the erection of a sign,
of a readily discernible size, upon which shall be lettered the words
"bathing beach," in a readily discernible size, or as may be required
by any rule or regulation of the Department; provided, however, that
the linear measurement along the shore line shall not exceed one
hundred (100) yards for each land owner;

(6)   Within 100 yards of the mean low water mark of any shore
line.

(7)   WITHIN 100 YARDS OF ANY LICENSED CRAB POT OR
CRAB TROTLINE, OR WITHIN 100 YARDS OF ANY CRAB
SCRAPING AREA AS DEFINED ON THE CHARTS OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF CHESAPEAKE BAY AFFAIRS.

(I) Dredge on unlicensed boatsIt is unlawful for any owner or
master or any person on board any boat or floating rig to have affixed
to said boat or floating rig any hydraulic or mechanical dredge while
said boat or floating rig is being sailed or operated on the navigable
waters of this State, unless said boat or floating rig shall be licensed
as hereinbefore provided.

(m) Inspection tax(1) An inspection tax of ten cents (104) per
bushel is hereby levied upon all soft shell clams caught within the
limits of Dorchester County or the Chesapeake Bay adjacent thereto,
unloaded from boats or rigs at the place in said county where said
clams are no further shipped in bulk in vessel, and said inspection tax
shall be paid weekly to the Comptroller of the Treasury, or his agent
by the buyer or purchaser thereof. All monies received by the Comp-
troller of the Treasury under the provisions of this subtitle shall be

credited to the Clam Fund, the monies in which shall be for the use

of the Department of Research and Education in making quantitative
shellfish
population surveys and for the study and research of clam-
ming in the State of Maryland, and all other monies received by the

Comptroller by the provisions of this section shall be credited to gen-
eral funds, anything to the contrary in the article notwithstanding.
