SALARIES OF JUDGES AND PENSIONS OF JUDGES
AND THEIR WIDOWS

47. Salaries of judges.

(a) Judges of Court of Appeals.—The salary of the Chief Judge
of the Court of Appeals [shall be twenty-five thousand five hundred
dollars ($25,500)] , and the maximum aggregate allowed as com-
pensation from the State and all political subdivisions of the State, is

thirty six thousand dollars ($36,000)
IS THIRTY-THREE THOU-
SAND DOLLARS ($33,000) per annum; the salary of each of the
associate judges of the Court of Appeals [shall be twenty-five thou-
sand dollars ($25,000)] , and the maximum aggregate allowed as
compensation from the State and all political subdivisions of the
State, is thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000)
IS THIRTY-TWO
THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($32,500) per annum.
AFTER JULY 1, 1967, NO SUPPLEMENTATION OF THE SAL-
ARIES OF ANY OF SUCH JUDGES SHALL BE ALLOWED.

(a-1) Judges of Court of Special Appeals.—The salary of the
Chief Judge of the Court of Special Appeals [shall be twenty-three
thousand dollars ($23,000)] , and the maximum aggregate allowed
as compensation from the State and all
political subdivisions of the
State, is thirty three thousand five hundred dollars ($33,500)
AS OF
JULY 1, 1967, IS TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUN-
DRED DOLLARS ($25,500) PER ANNUM; AS OF JULY 1,

1968, IS TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($28,000)
PER ANNUM; AS OF JULY 1, 1969, IS THIRTY THOU-
SAND FIVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($30,500) per annum;
IS TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($28,000) PER
ANNUM; the salary of each of the associate judges of the Court of
Special Appeals [shall be twenty-two thousand five hundred dollars
($22,500)] , and the maximum aggregate allowed as compensation

from the State and all political subdivisions of the State, is thirty-

two thousand five hundred dollars ($32,500) AS OF JULY 1, 1967,
IS TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) PER AN-
NUM; AS OF JULY 1, 1968, IS TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500) PER
ANNUM; AS OF
JULY 1, 1969, IS THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) per
IS TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($27,500)
PER annum. AFTER JULY 1, 1967, NO SUPPLEMENTATION
OF THE SALARIES OF ANY OF SUCH JUDGES SHALL BE
ALLOWED.

(c) All judges.The practice of supplementation of judicial sal-
aries and pensions by local political subdivisions, permitted under
