1,170.00 feet) to the place of beginning containing 20.97 acres of land
more or less.

2. That property situate in or near the City of Annapolis, bounded
generally by Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, the W. B. and A. Railroad and
College Creek and more particularly described as follows: Beginning
for the same at a point at tidewater on the northerly shore of College
Creek and the southwest side of Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, said point
having State of Maryland Grid System coordinates of North 419,348.75
East 942,485.27 as according to a survey done by James D. Hicks and
Associates dated July 22, 1963, thence from said point of beginning
with the tidewaters of said Creek the following five courses and
distances, viz: (1) South 86 Degrees 26 Minutes 30 Seconds West
73.84 feet. (2) North 65 Degrees 08 Minutes 20 Seconds West 61.89
feet, (3) North 44 Degrees 19 Minutes 20 Seconds West 108.49 feet,

(4)    South 82 Degrees 06 Minutes 40 Seconds West 175.97 feet,

(5)  South 83 Degrees 51 Minutes 40 Seconds West 122.54 feet, thence
leaving said tidewater and running (6) North 74 Degrees 51 Minutes
20 Seconds West 21.75 feet to a point being distant 33 feet south-
easterly from the center line between rails of the track of the Wash-
ington, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric Railroad Company leading
to Cedar Park, measured at right angles to said track, thence by a
curve to the right, paralleling the center line between rails of the track
connecting the said Bladen Street station track and the said Cedar
Park track and being distant 33 feet southerly therefrom at all points
measured on lines radial thereto, the courses and distances of chords
of said curve being as follows, starting at the last mentioned point;
(7) North 9 Degrees 38 Minutes 40 Seconds East 124.84 feet. (8)
North 22 Degrees 22 Minutes 40 Seconds East 91.21 feet, (9) North
40 Degrees 13 Minutes 40 Seconds East 88.52 feet, (10) North 80
Degrees 47 Minutes 40 Seconds East 68.57 feet to a point on the south-
west side of Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, thence leaving said Railroad
Right of Way and binding on the southwest side of Roscoe Rowe Boule-
vard (11) by a line curving to the right, said arc having a radius of
2,804.79 feet for a distance of 492.38 feet (chord bearing of said arc
being South 44 Degrees 04 Minutes 40 Seconds East 491.96 feet) to
the place of beginning, containing 1.98 acres of land, more or less.

(C)    The Board is authorized to acquire by purchase or gift that
property in the City of Annapolis owned by the Calvary Methodist
Church and bounded generally by College Avenue, North Street, State
Circle and the Court of Appeals Building, together with any or all
improvements thereon, and to acquire any other interests in and to
the said property and improvements. The Board is further authorized
to provide for the razing of any or all of the improvements on this
property.

(D)    The Board is authorized to acquire by purchase, gift, or, if
necessary, condemnation the property known generally as No. 87
College Avenue, together with any or all improvements thereon, and
to acquire any easements or other interests appurtenant thereto. The
Board is further authorized to provide for the razing of any or all
of the improvements on this property.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1966.
