subject to all of the provisions of the Constitution and laws relating
to the sixth judicial circuit and the several judges thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 451
(House Bill 548)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 108 (15)
(a) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1964 Replacement Volume), title "Justices of the Peace," sub-
title "Trial Magistrates System," increasing and revising upward
the amount of salary paid to the Judges of the People's Court
for Montgomery County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108 (15) (a) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Replacement Volume), title
"Justices of the Peace," subtitle "Trial Magistrates System," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
(15).
(a) There shall be four full-time judges of the People's Court of
Montgomery County. The chief judge of said court shall receive a
salary of [$17,500] $19,500 per year and each of the three associate
judges thereof shall receive a salary of [$17,000] $19,000 per year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4 of
Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Veterans," subtitle "Relief Fund," to provide
for State contributions to the burial cost of veterans WHO WERE
INDIGENT AT THE TIME OF THEIR DEATH.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4 of Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
