of government together with such other pertinent matters as the
Commission deems necessary or appropriate.

E. The Board of County Commissioners is directed to provide the
Commission with such assistance and funds as may be required to

enable the Commission to carry out it duties under this section.

FUNDS AS IN THEIR DISCRETION MAY BE NECESSARY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall expire auto-
matically on June 1, 1966, without further action on the part of the
General Assembly and shall be null and void after said date.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 413
(House Bill 686)

AN ACT to repeal Section 30-57 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County," subtitle "30. Fairmount Heights," to remove a limitation
on the maximum amount of debt which may be incurred by the
town of Fairmount Heights, and to do this pursuant to the pro-
visions of Section 5 of Article HE of the Constitution of Maryland.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 30-57 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County," subtitle
"30. Fairmount Heights," be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Effectiveness of this Act
shall be subject to the requirement of Section 5 of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland that no such local law shall become effective
in regard to a municipal corporation until and unless it shall have
been approved at a regular or special municipal election by a majority
of the voters of that municipal corporation voting on the question.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That (subject to the provisions
of Section 2 above) this Act shall take effect June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 414
(House Bill 690)

AN ACT to add a new Section 211 H-1 to Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "State Roads," to follow
immediately after Section 211 H, amending the "Twenty Year High-
