SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS

The hour of 9:01 o'clock having arrived the Speaker announced the
Special Order of the Day, being:

House Bill No. 38—By Delegate Goodman:

Subject: "ELECTIONS," subtitle "HOUSE OF REPRESENTA-
TIVES," RELATING GENERALLY TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
SEVERAL CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS IN THIS STATE.

Amendments to House Bill No. 38
By the Baltimore City Delegation, offered from the floor:

Amendment No. 1—On page 2 of the printed bill, Section 162, strike
out lines 2 and 3 and insert the following:

"The Third Congressional District is composed of Wards 1, 6, 7,
8, 9, 11, 12, 26 and Precincts 1 through 77 of Ward 27 in Baltimore City."

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 2—On page 2 of the printed bill, Section 163, strike
out all of lines 2 and 3 ind insert in lieu thereof the following:

"The Fourth Congressional District is composed of Wards 4, 5, 10,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17; Precincts 78 to 105 of the 27th Ward; and all of the
28th Ward in Baltimore City."

Which amendment was read and adopted.

Amendment No. 3—On page 2 of the printed bill, Section 164, strike
out all of lines 2, 3 and 4 and insert the following:

"The Fifth Congressional District is composed of Anne Arundel
County and Wards 2, 3, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 in Baltimore City."
