be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

220.

The [Board of County Commissioners of Harford County may, in
their discretion, on or before July 1, 1941, appoint a Board and in
which event the provisions of this subtitle shall then become effective;
which Board shall be known as the] Board of Electrical Examiners
of Harford County [, and which] shall consist of three persons, for
the purpose of examining into the qualifications and capabilities of
all persons who are engaged, or desire to engage, in the business of
Master Electricians as defined in this subtitle. The Board so ap-
pointed shall consist of the Chief of one of the Harford County volun-
teer fire companies and two competent, practical electricians of Har-
ford County, [who shall be selected from a list of four names recom-
mended to the Board of County Commi
ssioners by the Harford Coun-
by Electrical Contractors Association] one of whom shall be
selected
from a list of four names submitted to the County Commissioners by

the Harford County Electrical Contractors Association, and the other
of whom shall be selected from a list of four names
submitted to the
County Commissioners by the Harford County Electrical Contractors
Association, Inc.
If any vacancy occurs for any cause during the term

of any [Board as herein provided for, the Board of County Commis-

sioners shall fill the vacancy from a list of two names recommended fey-
said Harford County Electrical Contractors Association] member of
the Board recommended by the above associations, the County Com-

missioners shall fill the vacancy from a list of two names submitted

by whichever of the above associations submitted the name of the
person causing the vacancy
BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF HARFORD COUNTY, AND SAID COMMISSIONERS SHALL
ALSO FILL VACANCIES FOR UNEXPIRED TERMS. THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL HAVE FULL
POWER TO REMOVE ANY MEMBER OF THE BOARD FOR IN-
COMPETENCY OR IMPROPER CONDUCT BY SATISFACTORY
EVIDENCE BEING PRESENTED TO IT OF SUCH CONDITION.
THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE MEMBERS OF SAID BOARD
SHALL BE FOR ONE YEAR.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 485
(House Bill 363)

AN ACT to add a new Section 263 (e) to Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Fish and Fisheries," subheading "Part 2. Tidal Waters,"
to follow immediately after Section 263 (d) thereof, making it
unlawful to install, use, operate or maintain within any tidal
waters of this State any monofilament gill net webbing, and making
it unlawful to take fish by any such means or with such gear.
