2128                            JOINT RESOLUTIONS

Resolved, That the Committee when appointed be requested to
meet and organize promptly and to submit to the Legislative Coun-
cil and to the General Assembly its report and recommendations con-
cerning any possible remedial legislation.

(Senate Joint Resolution 17)

Senate Joint Resolution expressing the appreciation of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the League of Women Voters of Maryland
for the seating plan of the Senate and House of Delegates.

The members of the General Assembly of Maryland are grateful
to the League of Women Voters of Maryland for the foresight and
interest shown by that fine organization in preparing and distributing
throughout the State House copies of the seating plan of the Senate
and House of Delegates of Maryland.

This information is in convenient form, and will be highly useful
to members of the General Assembly, staff employees and the general
public.

The League of Women Voters of Maryland deserves the thanks and
appreciation of every member of the General Assembly for that
organization's careful attention to public business in the State of
Maryland; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the thanks
and appreciation of every member of the General Assembly be ex-
pressed to the League of Women Voters of Maryland for the prepara-
tion of the seating plan in the House and Senate Chambers; and be it
further

Resolved, That the Secretary of State of Maryland be requested
to send a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Edward J. Satterthwaite, 24
Chesapeake Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland.

(House Joint Resolution 20)

House Joint Resolution requesting the Legislative Council to appoint
a commission to study the Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund,
compulsory insurance a State Funded automobile liability insurer
and a reappraisal of Financial Responsibility Requirements.

Whereas, the Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund has been in
existence for over three years and has had sufficient time to demon-
strate its strength and weaknesses,
