year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and of Maryland Gent on the one Parte and John Griffith on the and in Consideration of the sume of ffive Thousand Pounds before the Ensealing and Delivering of these Presents then knowledge and Confess and thereof and Every Part and acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said John Griffith them by these Presents; And for Divers other good Causes Especially moveing he the said James Wroth with wife Testified by her being Made a Party to these prsents and signing and Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these prsents Doth fully freely confirm unto the sd John Griffith his Heires and assignes for ever dred Acres formerly taken up by Mr Samuell Tovey of the County [the] aforesd Samuell Tovey Beginning at the End of the Southwest Line Cornelius Crowley, and Running wth the sd Crowleys Land Northerly? line North West One Hundred & Seven Peaerches and from thence by Come to the Land of Abraham Ambrose and wth the sd Abraham the sd Crowleys Land Containing and now Laid out for one woods, Timber and Trees, wayes, Marshes, Waters, Proffits the sd Hundred acres of Land belonging or in any waies apper- and Demand Whatsoever of him ye sd James Wroth of Mr unto the said John Griffith his Heires and assignes to ye only for ever; and the said James Wroth doth hereby grant for him and with the appurtenances shall and will warrant and forever by himselfe his Heires Executors and Administratrs Covenant Heires and assignes by these prsents in manner and form at and before ye Ensealing and Delivering hereof hath and the said Bargained Premises; And hath full Power good same to the sd John Griffith his Heires and assignes forever shall and may henceforth forever Peaceably and Quietly without the Lawfull Let, Trouble, Deniall, Interuption, his Heires or Assignes or any other prson or prsons whatsoever ?aid and his Heires shall and will at all times hereafter him the said John Griffith his Heires or assignes make such farther and other Reasonable act and acts thing for the more Perfect sure-makeing of the sd Bargained by the sd Griffith his Heires or assignes or his or their advised or Required the Rents and Services therefore Due alwayes Excepted and foreprized In Wittness whereof unto sett their hands and seals the Day and Year above- p Lumley the above Dee was Mary Wroth {seal} did acknow The wthin wthin mencon'd In Open Wroth wife of said James acknowle The same & Entered upon the Records Recorded p Lumley |
