Mr. Harrington from the Committee on Claims reported favor-
ably on the bill entitled, an act to pay Jesse Hay for paring apart
of O'Donnell's wharf, in the city of Baltimore;

Which was read.                                               

Mr. Lester from the Select Committee, made a favorable report
on the bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed purporting to be
from Edward Utley to James McMullan;

Which was read.

Mr. Hall reported a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Brookville, Sandy Spring and Laurel Stage Company of Mary-
land;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corporations.

Mr. Wright from a Select Committee reported a bill entitled, an
act to alter the district line between the first and second districts
of Baltimore county;

Which was read.                

Mr. Daniel reported a bill entitled, an act to simplify the rules
and forms of pleading and practice in the Courts as Courts of
equity.                                                                                 

Which was read.

Mr. Wright from a Select Committee reported a bill entitled, an
act for the relief of Thomas J. Pierpoint and the heirs of Francis
Feelemyer of Baltimore county;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways and
Means.

Mr. Heath from a Special Committee, reported favorably on a
bill entitled, an act to authorize the Orphans' Court for Baltimore
county, to order the sale of part of the real estate, in said county
of which Robert Turner, late of said county, died seized;

Which was read.                                                                           

On motion of Mr. Abbott,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to alter and amend the
present system for the measurement and inspection of lumber in
the city of Baltimore.
