definition of "county commissioners" and "circuit court"; to add
six new sections to said Article 5, to follow after Section 42 thereof,
to be known as Sections 43 to 48 inclusive, under a new sub-title
headed, "Appeal from Municipal Court of Baltimore City to
Criminal Court of Baltimore", relating generally to appeals from
said Municipal Court to said Criminal Court;

ARTICLE 27

to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec. 36(c), subtitle,
"Concealed Weapons", Sec. 122, subtitle, "Disturbance of the Public
Peace", Sec. 123, subtitle, "Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct",
Sees. 142 and 144, sub-title, "False Pretenses, Bad Checks, etc.",
Sec. 267, subtitle, "Graveyard Desecration", Sec. 341 (b), subtitle,
"Larceny", Secs. 467(b) and 467(d), subtitle, "Receiving Stolen
Goods, Money or Securities", Sec. 477, subtitle, "Returnable Con-
tainers" and Sec. 577, subtitle, "Trespass", all of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed., as amended), Title,
"Crimes and Punishments", by deleting from each of said sections
reference to justices of the peace or trial magistrates in Baltimore
City; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 140, sub-
title, "False Pretenses, Bad Checks, etc.", of said Article providing
that in Baltimore City false pretenses involving less than $100
shall not be punishable by imprisonment in the penitentiary; to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 275 of said Article,
subtitle "Health—Milk—Pure—Skimmed", by deleting all ref-
erence to justices of the peace in Baltimore City and to informers'
fees; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 349 of said
Article, subtitle, "Larceny—Horses or Vehicles", deleting the
penitentiary as a place of punishment for unauthorized use under
said section and providing that Article 52 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, Title, "Justices of the Peace", Section 13, shall not
be applicable to said Section 349; to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Sections 558 and 559, subtitle "Thieves and Pick-
pockets" and Section 589, subtitle, "Venue" of said Article 27, by
deleting references to justices of the peace in Baltimore City and
including said Municipal Court under said Sections; to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 641, subtitle, "Sentence and
Punishment" of said Article, by including appeals from said
Municipal Court thereunder;

ARTICLE 52

to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 13(a), 17, 18,
and 19, subtitle, "Criminal Jurisdiction" of Article 52 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed., as amended), Title, "Justices
of the Peace", by deleting therefrom references to Justices of the
Peace in Baltimore City; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 22, 23 and 24, of said Article and subtitle, by adding
references thereto to said Municipal Court; to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments, Section 21 of said Article and subtitle by deleting
reference to the Justices of the Peace in Baltimore City and adding
a reference to said Municipal Court; to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 29 (A) of said Article, subtitle "Docket", by
deleting reference to the clerk of the Baltimore City Court; to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 38 of said Article,
subtitle, "Process and Practice", by deleting reference to the clerk
of the Superior Court of Baltimore City;
