1776                       Certificates of Referenda

Whereas, at the election held on the day and date above set forth,
the said Acts and each of them were so submitted to the legal and
qualified voters of the State and from the certified copies of the re-
turns thereof, duly filed with me and certified to by the Board of
Canvassers at its meeting held in the State House in Annapolis, Mary-
land, on November 30th, 1960, as directed by the Constitution and
Laws of the State, it appears that:

For the adoption of Chapter 14, aforesaid, 328,370 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 97,015 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 224, aforesaid, 277,154 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 122,577 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 234, aforesaid, 292,888 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 134,858 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 373, aforesaid, 334,714 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 103,827 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 444, aforesaid, 327,178 votes were
cast; and against the adoption thereof, 100,527 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 575, aforesaid, 256,508 votes were
east, and against the adoption thereof, 160,762 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 604, aforesaid, 273,024 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 119,758 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 642, aforesaid, 232,040 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 171,028 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 664, aforesaid, 255,922 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 139,507 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 743, aforesaid, 348,283 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 81,128 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 761, aforesaid, 236,482 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 166,407 votes were cast;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 11, aforesaid, 328,775 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 92,812 votes were cast ;
and

For the adoption of Chapter 64, aforesaid, 315,710 votes were
cast, and against the adoption thereof, 136,658 votes were cast;
