AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 7 (b) of
Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 2. Formation of
Boards", increasing the allowance for travel and other expenses
for members of the Board of Education in Anne Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 7 (b) of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed-
ition), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 2. Formation of
Boards", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

7.

(b) No member of said Board of Education shall receive compensa-
tion for his services, but shall receive [$300.00] $480.00 annually for
travel and other expenses.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
