ORDER

Please excuse Delegate Frances Holub, Second District, Baltimore
City, from today's session because of illness.

PETITION

Annapolis, Md., May 28, 1962.

Maryland Legislature

Chairman, Ways and Means Committee

Honorable Gordon Boone

Your petitioner wishes to call to your attention that after a very
fine hearing before your committee in the regular session of the legisla-
ture, the Public Authority Bill to develop Assateague Island was tabled.

Tabling of the bill leaves the problem unsolved.

I respectfully request a hearing before your committee in order
that you, the chairman and one of the most knowledgeable and influential
men in this legislature, can bring to the governor's attention that this
should be an administration bill.

Respectfully,

W. E. GREEN

Which was read the first time and referred to the Legislative Council
by roll call as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE
