Honorable George W. Delia
President of the Senate

Annapolis, Maryland
Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with the established policy outlined to your Body
in my letter on Senate Bill No. 35, I am today making available to
you a copy of my veto message on Senate Bill 9, passed during the
Special Session of the General Assembly.
Senate Bill No. 9 was a local Anne Arundel County Bill designed
to revise the laws licensing and regulating electricians in Anne Arundel
County.
House Bill No. 20 passed during the Special Session of the General
Assembly, and was designed to accomplish this same purpose. House
Bill No. 20 has been signed by me. Therefore, I find it unnecessary
to give my approval to Senate Bill No. 9.
With kindest regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
(s) J. MILLARD TAWES,
Governor.
