cents (25¢) to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for issuing the same.
Said license shall be valid for the calendar year when issued and
shall be exhibited upon demand by any officer of the Commission of
Tidewater Fisheries.

(j) Confiscation.The Commission of Tidewater Fisheries and its
Inspectors are authorized and empowered to seize any and all soft
shell clams which may be caught, sold, offered for sale, or held in
possession in violation of any provision of this section or of the
rules and regulations adopted by the Commission of Tidewater
Fisheries. Such confiscated soft shell clams shall be disposed of to
the best interests of the State.

(k) Penalties.Any person violating any provision of this sec-
tion and/or the rules and regulations of the Commission of Tide-
water Fisheries shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in Sec-
tion 715 (m) of this Article 66C unless a specific penalty is pre-
scribed in any sub-section, when the same shall apply.

(I) The Clam Fund.All monies received under the provisions of
this section and the rules and regulations of the Commission of
Tidewater Fisheries, except the Twenty-five Cents (25¢) fee to the
Clerk of the Circuit Court set forth in Sub-section (i), shall be paid
to the Comptroller of the Treasury, or his agent, and shall be credit-
ed to a fund to be known as the "Clam Fund" which is hereby
established. The "Clam Fund" shall be a continuous fund without
reversion. All monies accruing to the "Clam Fund" from the col-
lection of the Inspection Tax imposed by Sub-section (g) shall be
used by the Department of Research and Education, in the study and
research of clamming in the State of Maryland.

(1)  THE COMMISSION OF TIDEWATER FISHERIES SHALL
ISSUE AND PROVIDE FORMS TO ALL LICENSED SOFT
SHELL CLAM DREDGERS WHICH SHALL REQUIRE THE
FOLLOWING INFORMATION THEREON: THE DATE OF
CATCH; DREDGER'S LICENSE NUMBER, NAME AND AD-
DRESS; AREA OR AREAS WHERE SOFT SHELL CLAMS
CAUGHT; NAME OF LICENSED SOFT SHELL CLAM DEALER
TO WHOM CLAMS WERE SOLD AND THE NUMBER OF U. S.
BUSHELS, OR PARTS THEREOF, SOLD TO SAID DEALER
AND SUCH OTHER INFORMATION AS REQUIRED BY DE-
PARTMENT OF TIDEWATER FISHERIES. SAID FORMS
SHALL BE IN TRIPLICATE, AND BE SIGNED BY THE
LICENSED SOFT SHELL CLAM DREDGER. ONE COPY
THEREOF IS TO BE RETAINED BY THE LICENSED SOFT
SHELL CLAM DREDGER FOR NOT LESS THAN EIGHTEEN
(18) MONTHS; ONE COPY THEREOF IS TO BE RETURNED
OR DELIVERED TO THE COMMISSION OF TIDEWATER
FISHERIES WEEKLY, AND THE REMAINING COPY IS TO
BE GIVEN THE LICENSED SOFT SHELL CLAM DEALER.

(2)  THE COMMISSION OF TIDEWATER FISHERIES SHALL
ALSO ISSUE AND PROVIDE TO EACH LICENSED SOFT SHELL
CLAM DEALER FORMS TO BE EXECUTED BY THE DEALER,
IN THE EVENT OF RESALE BY HIM, IN MARYLAND, OF
CLAMS FOR EXPORT, AND DELIVERED TO EACH PUR-
CHASER, TRUCKER, TRANSPORTER OR EXPORTER THERE-
OF, SHOWING THE DEALER'S LICENSE NUMBER, THE DATE
