(b) No minor shall be permitted on any premises for which a

Class D Beer License has been issued.

(c) Any licensee, agent, servant, or employee who permits a minor

on the licensed premises and any minor who is present on the prem-

ises in violation of this section shall be punished by a fine not to

exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00), or by imprisonment not to

exceed one year, or both.

(A)   IN KENT AND WICOMICO COUNTIES, IT SHALL BE
UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWEN-
TY-ONE (21) YEARS TO LOAF, LOITER, OR TO BE A NUIS-
ANCE ON ANY PREMISES FOR WHICH A CLASS B OR CLASS
D BEER LICENSE HAS BEEN ISSUED, AND FOR ANY LICEN-
SEE, AGENT, SERVANT, OR EMPLOYEE TO PERMIT ANY
PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS
TO LOAF OR LOITER ON SAID PREMISES.

(B)  ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES THIS SECTION SHALL
BE PUNISHED BY A FINE NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($200.00) OR BY IMPRISONMENT NOT TO EX-
CEED ONE YEAR, OR BOTH.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of this Act
shall not be construed to extend or apply to any offenses occurring
prior to the effective date of this Act.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT ENACTED THAT THIS ACT SHALL
TAKE EFFECT ON JUNE 1, 1959 EXCEPT THAT THE IN-
CREASED LICENSE FEES HEREIN PROVIDED FOR SHALL
NOT TAKE EFFECT UNTIL THE LICENSE YEAR BEGINNING
ON MAY 1, 1960.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 3 and
27 (a) of Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957

VATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY AND HAV-

ING BEEN PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE, SUPPORTED
BY THREE FIFTHS OF ALL THE
MEMBERS ELECTED TO
EACH OF THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
OF MARYLAND, THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT
FROM
THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.
