OF LAND MORE OR LESS,
B. A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING AND LAID OUT FOR
½ ACRE OF LAND FRONTING ON GWYNN OAK AVENUE;
C. ALL OF LOT 4 IN THE SOUTHWESTERNMOST 10 FEET
OF LOT 3 ON A PLAT RECORDED WITH A DEED FROM
M. CLIFTON SMINK AND WIFE TO J. M. RANDOLPH BURK.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 446 (f) of
the Laws of Harford County (1942 Edition), being Article 13 of
the Code of 'Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford
County", sub-title "Roads", said section having been last amended
by Chapter 120 of the Acts of 1951, relating to the power of the
Roads Engineer of Harford County to purchase materials where
the amount of such purchase does not exceed $750.00. ONE THOU-
SAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00).
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 446 (f) of the Laws of Harford County (1942 Edition),
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Harford County", sub-title "Roads", said section haying been
last amended by Chapter 120 of the Acts of 1951, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
446. (f) The said Roads Engineer shall examine and certify to
the correctness of all bills and accounts for work and materials fur-
nished for any of the roads and bridges, or for any other construc-
tion or repair work done by the County under his supervision; also
all expenditures for or in connection with the purchase, repair, main-
tenance or operation of any of the aforementioned machinery or
equipment; also for all supplies purchased for any of the above
mentioned! purposes. He shall have the power to purchase materials
necessary for the proper performance of his duties where the amount
of such purchase does not exceed [Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)]
