by added to Article 52 of said Code (1956 Supplement), said new
section to follow immediately after Section 6 (j) thereof, and all
to read as follows:
6.
(b) Two hundred dollars in certain counties.—Trial magistrates
of Garrett, [Kent,] Queen Anne's, Somerset and Worcester counties
shall have civil jurisdiction in all cases hereinbefore mentioned in
this section and involving amounts not exceeding two hundred dol-
lars.
6.
(k) Trial Magistrates of Kent County shall have civil jurisdic-
tion in all cases hereinabove mentioned in this section, instituted
after June 1, 1957, and involving amounts not exceeding four hund-
red dollars ($400.00).
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 410
(Senate Bill 450)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 203 (b)
of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Forfeiture of Corporate
Charters For Non-Payment of Taxes", correcting an erroneous
cross reference therein contained to the section of the Annotated
Code which concerns the revival of corporate charters.
Whereas, In Section 203 (b) of the Code, which concerns the for-
feiture of corporate charters for non-payment of taxes, there is a
cross reference to Section 153 of Article 81 as being the section of
the Code concerning the revival of corporate charters; and
Whereas, Section 153 of Article 81 was repealed by Chapter 135
of the Acts of 1951, which Act generally revised the general corpo-
ration laws of the State; and
Whereas, The revival of corporate charters now is covered in
Section 81 of Article 23 of the Code, which reference should be
made in said Section 203 (b); now, therefore,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 203 (b) of Article 81 "of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Forfeit-
