412. An act to incorporate the Leitersburg Town-hall Com-
pany at Leitersburg, Washington county, Maryland.

413. An act for the benefit of primary schools in district
number three, election district number two, in Caroline
county.

414. An act to regulate the issuing of licenses to ordinary
keepers and traders.

415. An act to incorporate the Baltimore Exchange Build-
ings Company.

416. An act to incorporate a company to construct a bridge
across Miles river, in Talbot county, and to authorise the
county commissioners to levy a tax on said county.

417. An act to authorise the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore, to establish and enforce an inspection and mea-
surement of gas and gas metres in that city.

418. An act to authorise the county commissioners of
Montgomery county, to put upon the levy of said, county
a sum of money for the benefit of George P. Atwood, of said
county.

419. An act to refund to Walter P. Snow, administrator
of Edward D. Martin, late clerk of the Circuit court for
Worcester county, and to George B. Gray, late Register of
Wills for the same county, certain sums of money errone-
ously paid into the Treasury.

420. An act amendatory of an act, passed at January ses-
sion 1853, chapter 363, entitled, an act to amend the act in-
corporating the Western Maryland Railroad Company.

421. An act for the relief of the Maryland Hospital.

422. An act to authorise the opening of a road in Carroll
and Howard counties.

423. An act to change the present bridge across the Po-
comoke river, at the town of Snow Hill, in Worcester county,
to a pivot or draw-bridge.

424. An act to aid the erection of a monument commemo-
rative of the Declaration of American Independence.

425. An act to continue the State's appropriation for the
benefit of colonization.

426. An .act further to provide for carrying into effect the
22d section of the 4th article of the Constitution, so far as
relates to the Courts of Equity in the city of Baltimore.
