Any person, firm, corporation, or officer of a corporation who shall
violate any rules or regulation promulgated by the County Commis-
sioners under the authority of this Section, shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than
$50.00 nor more than $500.00 or imprisoned in jail for not less than
ten days nor more than three months, or both, at the discretion of the
Court, but no conviction hereunder shall in any manner relieve any
person of any other penalties hereunder or the necessity of com-
pliance with all other applicable rules, regulations and laws.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 405
(House Bill 704)
AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County (1948 Edition), to be known as Section 285
under the title "Public Works", sub-title "Buildings", authorizing
the County Commissioners of Baltimore County to adopt additions
and amendments to the Building Code of Baltimore County by
reference to standard publications and standard specifications.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That one new section be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1948 Edition) to be known as Section 285
under the title of "Public Works", sub-title "Buildings", said new
section to read as follows:
285. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County are hereby
authorized and empoivered to incorporate into the Building Code of
Baltimore County standard specifications and data by reference to
standard publications thereof. Such standard specifications and data
so referred to shall have the same force and effect as if printed in its
entirety in said Building Code of Baltimore County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
