AFOREMENTIONED VEHICLES WEIGHING MORE THAN
THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT ALLOWED UPON THE POSTED
SIGN, WITHOUT A WRITTEN PERMIT FROM THE FRED-
ERICK COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CON-
VICTION THEREOF, SHALL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT
LESS THAN TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) NOR MORE
THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) FOR EACH SUCH
OFFENSE; IN ADDITION TO WHICH THE OWNER OR PER-
SON IN CONTROL OF SUCH VEHICLE SHALL BE LIABLE TO
THE SAID BOARD FOR ALL DAMAGE WHICH MAY BE
CAUSED BY THE VIOLATION OF ANY SUCH REGULATION.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 347
(House Bill 281)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 194 through 200, inclusive, of Title 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, 1948 Edition
(being Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
1930 Edition, title "Baltimore County"), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Dogs", as said sections were enacted by Chapter 666 of the Acts
of 1939, and to enact in lieu thereof 22 new sections to be known
as Sections 194 through 200, inclusive, and 200-A through 200-O,
inclusive, authorizing and directing the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County to establish and maintain a Dog License Com-
mission for the supervision of dogs, providing for the licensing of
dogs, the appointment, powers and duties, and payment of Dog
Wardens, and the appointment of adequate personnel, the payment
of damages caused by dogs, the establishment and maintenance
of pounds, the purchase of necessary equipment, and authorizing
the Dog License Commission to make necessary rules, regulations
and provisions for a complete and effective enforcement of this
Act in Baltimore County SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF
THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 194 through 200, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County, 1948 Edition (being Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County"),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Dogs", as said sections were enacted by
Chapter 666 of the Acts of 1939, be and they are hereby repealed,
and that 22 new sections, to be known as 194 through 200, inclusive,
and 200A through 200-O, inclusive, be and they are hereby enacted
in lieu thereof, to read as follows:
