they shall be due, and the necessary expenses incur-
red in the management thereof, and the residue to the
building a church in the town of Cumberland, in Al-
legany county.

Bond shall be
lodged in
county court

may be insti-
tuted.

3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said bond
shall be lodged in the office of the clerk of Allegany
county, to be there recorded; and upon such bond,
or any office copy thereof, suit or suits may be insti-
tuted for any breach or non-compliance with the con-
dition thereof.

Disposition
of tickets.

4. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the managers,
or a majority of them be, and they or any person or
persons appointed by them, or a majority of them,
are hereby authorised to dispose of and sell all or
any of the tickets of said lottery, in the city of
Baltimore, or any part of this State, exclusive of any
control over the same by the corporation of the city
of Baltimore, any law or usage to the contrary not-
withstanding.


CHAPTER 82.

An act entitled, A supplement to an act entitled, An
act declaring what shall he evidence in certain cases
therein mentioned.

evidence.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, Thai, any copy taken from any of the
books, papers, entries and proceedings, which now
are, or may be in possession of the register of the
land office, not being matter of record, and attested
by him, under the seal of his office, shall be received
in evidence in any court of law or equity, or before
any judge, justice, or other tribunal, in this State, in
the same manner, and to have the same effect, as if
the original books, papers, entries or proceedings
were themselves produced, any thing in the said act
to which this is a supplement to the contrary notwith-
standing.

An act for the benefit of the heirs of James Wilson,
late of Somerset county deceased.

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the orphans' court of Som-
erset county be, and they are hereby authorised and
empowered, if they think it will be advantageous to
the heirs of James Wilson, late of Somerset county,
deceased, to appoint a trustee to sell and dispose of
