TITLES OF THE RESOLUTIONS.
1. Resolution requesting our Representatives in Congress, to
urge upon the General Government the necessity and propriety of
making some arrangement by treaty or otherwise, with the Pe-
ruvian Government, by which the present monopoly in the sale
of Guano in this State, and other States of the Union, may be re-
moved.
2. Resolution allowing the Agricultural Society of Frederick
county, to use and occupy the Barracks and public grounds at-
tached thereto, at Frederick.
3. Resolution in relation to the New Tobacco Warehouse in
the city of Baltimore, now in the process of erection.
4. Resolution appointing agents on the part of this State to
settle and adjust with the Government of the United States,
the claims of this State upon that Government, which claims
are set forth in resolution Number thirty-four of December ses-
sion eighteen hundred and forty-two, and in resolution Number
twenty-eight, of December session eighteen hundred and forty-
four.
5. Resolution directing the Librarian to furnish the Court of
Appeals four copies of the Maryland Reports, as they are here-
after published.
6. Resolution requesting the Governor to issue a commission to
the Hon. James A. Pearce, as Senator of the United States.
7. Resolution requesting our Representatives in Congress to
use their exertions to secure the passage of a law extending the
provisions of the act of Congress of September twenty eight.
