Resolution relating to the establishment of an Agricul-
tural School and experimental farm in connection
with the Smithsonian Institution.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That they approve the object of the memorial addressed
to the Congress of the United States, at the present ses-
sion on the pact of the Maryland State Agricultural So-
ciety, for the establishment of an Agricultural School
and experimental farm in connection with the Smith-
sonian Institution.

Resolution requesting our Senators and Representatives
in Congress to use their influence to procure the pas-
sage of a law, making free so much of the Washing-
ton and Rockville turnpike road as lies within the
District of Columbia.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Senators and Representatives in Congress
from this State, are hereby requested to use their influ-
ence in procuring the passage of a law making free so
much of the Washington and Rockville Turnpike Road
as lies within the District of Columbia.
