is now truly a war-worn soldier, bereft of almost
every comfort, and entirely unable to procure a sup-
port from bodily exertions; and has a wife and seve-
ral small children dependent on him for a support,
which, from his wounds and other afflictions he is
prevented from affording, and has prayed for legisla-
tive aid: — Therefore,

Judges may
grant a license
under a certain
provision.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges of Worcester county court,
in court sitting, or any one of them out of court be3
and are hereby empowered and authorised, from time
to time, to grant a license to William Taylor to keep
an ordinary in Worcester county, where he now
resides, on the Cross-roads leading from Berlin to
Herring-creek; for which license the said William
Taylor is hereby relieved from the payment of the sum.
of money required by law; Provided always, That the
said William Taylor shall first enter into the recogni-
zance prescribed by law to be entered into by ordi-
nary keepers.

 

CHAPTER 74.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

A further Supplement to an act entitled, " An act
to incorporate companies to make several turn-
pike roads through Baltimore county, and for
other purposes.

Original act ex-
tended for three
years.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the period of time allowed to the
stock-holders in the Baltimore and Frederick-Town
Turnpike Company for extending the Turnpike
Road from Frederick-Town to Harpers' ferry, as
mentioned in the act passed at November session
eighteen hundred and nine, entitled, " A supplement to
an act entitled, An act to incorporate companies to
make several turnpike roads through Baltimore coun-
ty, and for other purposes, " be, and the same is hereby
extended for the term of three years after the expira-
tion of the period aforesaid, which is prescribed in
the said act.

 

CHAPTER 75.

Passed Dec. 27,.
1811.

An act for the sale of the real estate of Abraham
Larsh, late of Baltimore county, deceased.
