1896 CERTIFICATES OF REFERENDA
1951, Ch. 102—Bowie
OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY That at an election held on May 14, 1951,
an Act known as Chapter 102 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1951 was submitted to the voters of the Town
of Bowie, Prince George's County, for their adoption or
rejection, under the provisions of Chapter 102 of the Acts
of 1951, said Act being:
"An Act providing for the amount of taxes to be
levied for any one year upon the assessable property
within the Town of Bowie".
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 38 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 102 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1951, and 86 votes were cast
against the adoption of the said Act; and a majority of the
votes being cast against the adoption of Chapter 102 of the
Acts of 1951, it has therefore failed of ratification.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
