To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
210 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the
Town of District Heights, Prince George's County, Mary-
land, on May 4, 1953, an Act known as Chapter 63 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1953 was sub-
mitted to the voters of the Town of District Heights, Prince
George's County, Maryland, for their adoption or rejection
under the provisions of Chapter 63 of the Acts of 1953, said
Act being:

"An Act authorizing a loan for the construction of a
Municipal Center Building".

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 176 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 63 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1953 and 157 votes were cast against
the adoption of the said Act, and a majority of the votes
being cast for the adoption of said Chapter 63 of the Acts of
1953, the said Act has, therefore, been ratified by the voters
of the Town of District Heights, Prince George's County,
Maryland.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
