AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 324 of Article 56
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in the Counties", said
section having been amended by Chapter 660 of the Acts of
1949, said new sub-section to be known as Sub-section (Har-
ford County), and to follow immediately after Sub-section
(Carroll County), of said section and Article, and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (c) of Section
326 of said Article, title and sub-title, relating to the issuance
of dog licenses in Harford County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Sec-
tion 324 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in the
Counties", said section having been amended by Chapter 660
of the Acts of 1949, said new sub-section to be known as Sub-
section (Harford County), and to follow immediately after
Sub-section (Carroll County) of said section and Article, and
that Section 326 of said Article, title and sub-title, be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(Harford County. ) In Harford County all applications for
licenses under the provisions of this section shall be made on
or before the thirty-first day of December of each year and all
licenses issued shall be void upon the thirty-first day of Decem-
ber of the following year. Any license issued under the pro-
visions of this section as of July 1, 1950, shall be valid until
December 31, 1951.

(c) The County Commissioners of the several counties are
authorized and empowered to pay such additional compensa-
tion to the County Treasurer, or to the tax collecting officer as
they may deem necessary or advisable to compensate him or
them for the additional duties imposed by this Act. In Har-
