A supplement to the act, to Incorporate the Eastern Bank
of Baltimore.

Time extended.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time within which ten thousand shares of
stock were required to he subscribed to the capital
stock of the Eastern Bank of Baltimore, in pursuance
of the provisions of its charter, is hereby extended un-
til the first day of April eighteen hundred and thirty-
nine, and if said amount be subscribed on or before
that day, then and in that case said charter shall be
deemed and taken to be in full force and operation.

An act to change the name of Anthony Christopher Co-
lumbus Americus Vespucius Thompson, of Talbot
County.

Name changed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Anthony Christopher Columbus Americus Ves-
pucius Thompson, of Talbot county, shall be hence-
forth called and known by the name of Absalom Chris-
topher Columbus Americus Vespucius Thompson,
and none other, and shall be at all times and in all re-
spects entitled to use the name of Absalom Christopher
Columbus Americus Vespucius Thompson, as if the
same had been given him in baptism.
