CHAP. 31.

1841.

CHAPTER 29.

An act for the benefit of David Briddell, Jr. of Worces-
ter County, for purposes therein mentioned.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it doth appear by the certificate of the Re-
gister of the Eastern Shore Land Office, that David Brid-
dell, Jun'r., of Worcester county, did, on the fourteenth
day of September, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, return
into said office a certificate for a tract of land called Addi-
tion to Missouri, and the said certificate is lost or mislaid —
therefore,

Rights secured.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said David Briddell, Jun'r. shall be and he is here-
by authorised and empowered to demand and receive all
the rights and benefits which he would be entitled to, by
virtue of said certificate, if it was found in said land office,
without any additional costs thereon.

CHAPTER 30.

Passed Jan. 27,
1841.

An act to give to Peter W. Gibbons and William Frush,
of Baltimore County, further time to make their Col-
lections.

Time extended
12 months.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Peter W. Gibbous of the first collection district, and
William Frush of the fifth collection district of Baltimore
county, be and they are hereby allowed the further time of
twelve months from the passage of this act, to complete
their collections in said districts.

CHAPTER 31.

An act to incorporate the Port Deposit Library Associa-
tion.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
that a number of the inhabitants of the village of Port De-
posit have formed themselves into an association, whose
object is the promotion of literature and the encouragement
of the arts and sciences, by providing a library, reading
