EXTRAORDINARY SESSION
ANNAPOLIS, MD., June 13, 1958.
STATE OP MARYLAND, TO WIT :
This being the day appointed by the Governor for a Special Session
of the General Assembly at 10:00 o'clock P. M.
Mr. George W. Owings, Jr., Clerk of the House of Delegates during
the regular session of February, 1958 called the House to order and
after the offering of prayer by Hon. Harris of Frederick County.
The Reading Clerk called the roll and the following members answered
to their names:

One hundred and ten members having answered to their names a
quorum was found to be present.
Mr. Boone duly seconded moved to elect John C. Luber, Speaker of
the House of Delegates for Special Session, June 13, 1958.
Chairmen appointed—Honorable Perry O. Wilkinson and Honorable
Marvin Mandel.
Oath was administered by the Chief Clerk to Honorable John C.
Luber as Speaker for the Special Session of the House of Delegates,
June 13, 1958.
PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR OF MARYLAND
CONVENING THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND
IN EXTRAORDINARY SESSION AT ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
FRIDAY, JUNE 13th, 1958 at 10:00 A.M.
Whereas, Federal legislation has been enacted making federal funds
