CHAPTER 83.

CHAP. 84.

AN ACT to add the following sections, relating to
an Act to authorise the County Commissioners
of Harford county, to lay out and establish a
Public Landing on the Susquehanna river, at
Lapidum or Bell's Ferry, in said county, to Ar-
ticle 12 of the Public Local Laws.

16, 1860.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of
Harford county, be and they are hereby authorised,
if in their judgment the public convenience shall
require it, to locate, establish and improve a public
landing on the Susquehanna river, at or near Lapi-
dum or Bell's Ferry, in said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the same pro-
ceedings shall be had to locate, improve and estab-
lish said public landing as are now required by
law to open a public road.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 84.

In force.

AN ACT to amend the Act of eighteen hundred
and fifty-eight, chapter twenty, entitled, An
Act to lay out and establish a new Election Dis-
trict out of Dames District Number Four, in
Somerset county, to be called Tangier District, or
Election District Number Fifteen.

Passed Feb.
24, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the second section of the act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight,
chapter twenty, entitled, an act to lay out and es-
tablish a new election district in Somerset county,
out of Dames Quarter district number four, to be
called Tangier district, or election district number
fifteen, be and the same is hereby repealed.
