the requirements of this section, which accepts citizens of the
State as members, and issues certificates or policies thereto,
shall issue said certificates or policies subject to the following
conditions:

(h) That the company consents that the State Insurance
Commissioner of Maryland is its agent for the service of pro-
cess in any action, suit or proceeding brought in this State,
which authority shall continue so long as any liability shall
remain outstanding.

(i) That the certificate or policy shall not be forfeited for
failure of the insured to give notice of change of occupation.

(j) That when a member or policyholder is injured or
killed by accidental means, compensation or indemnity shall
be paid to him or his beneficiary or beneficiaries according to
the hazard of the occupation in which he is actually employed
at the time of injury or death, and in accordance with a classi-
fication of risks to be prepared or adopted by the Insurance
Commissioner of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 550.
(House Bill 541)

AN ACT to repeal Section 417 of Article 7 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll
County", sub-title "Taneytown" as amended by Chapter 100
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland passed at
the Session of the General Assembly of Maryland begun and
held at the City of Annapolis on the sixth day of January,
1937, and ending on the fifth day of April, 1937, and to re-
enact the same as so amended so as to authorize an increase
in the tax rate of the town of Taneytown and in the borrow-
ing capacity of said town and to provide for the payment
of the money borrowed; and to add a new section to said
Article 7 to be known as Section 417A of said sub-title
"Taneytown" of said title "Carroll County" and providing
and authorizing that The Mayor and City Council of Taney-
town shall have full power and authority (a) to increase
or reduce the number of policemen and to provide for their
pay; (b) to regulate and control the use of the public ways
