relating to the State Board of Commissioners of Prac-
tical Plumbing.
Whereas, Sections 318-325, inclusive, of Article 43 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), have
superseded the provisions of the above-mentioned sections;
therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 596-602, inclusive, of Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "State
Board of Commissioners of Practical Plumbing", be and
they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 260.
(Senate Bill 214)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
6, Sub-section (15B), of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, and the Baltimore City Char-
ter, 1938 Edition, title "City of Baltimore", sub-title
"General Powers", sub-heading "Organization of Depart-
ments", providing that unless otherwise provided by
Charter Amendment, all appointments under any organ-
ization or reorganization pursuant to said Section 6,
Sub-section (15B), shall be made under and pursuant
to the provisions of Sections 268 to 284, inclusive, of said
Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City, 1938
Edition, and any amendments thereto pertaining to the
City Service Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 6, Sub-section (15B) of Article 4
of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, and the Baltimore
City Charter, 1938 Edition, title "City of Baltimore", sub-
title "General Powers", sub-heading "Organization of De-
partments", be and the same is. hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:
