This being the day appointed by the Governor for a Special
Session of the General Assembly of Maryland at 12:30 o'clock P. M.,
Mr. George W. Owings, Jr., Journal Clerk of the House of Dele-
gates during the regular session, called the House to order and,
after the offering of prayer by the Hon. Charles M. See, the Reading
