paying the loan herein authorized; if such stock or certificates
are issued in series, the net premiums resulting from the sale
of the entire loan shall be placed to the credit of any existing
sinking funds established for the payment of any loans of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1929.

CHAPTER 155.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Kent
County to sell all or any part of the Ferry Property in
Chestertown, located between the properties of May W.
Ireland and Donald F. Stam.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Kent County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell all
or any part or parts of the Ferry Lot located in Chestertown,
Maryland, and purchased by the County Commissioners for
Kent County from William Frank Hines and Mary E. Hines,
his wife, by deed dated November 26th, 1895, and recorded
in Liber S. G. F. 6, Folio 455 land record books of Kent
County, State of Maryland, and to give a good and sufficient
deed for said property or any part thereof so sold, to the pur-
chaser or purchasers thereof, the authority and power con-
ferred by this section to be exercised in the discretion of the
said County Commissioners or a majority of them, if the said
County Commissioners sell said lot or any part thereof the
proceeds from said sale or sales shall be paid over to the Coun-
ty Treasurer of said county as a part of the general funds
of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.
