451 Nathaniel Hynson of S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Gent the tenth day of July Anno Domini Seventeen hundred thirty & three at the Parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court in and upon John English in the Peace of God and the Said Lord prop.ry then and there being with force and Arms an assault did make and him the Said John then and there did beat wound and evilly treat So that of his life it was much despaired and other harms to him then and there did to the great Damage of the Said John and against the Peace of the Said Lord prop.ry his good rule and Government T francis Cler. pac. Test John English W.m Blackston Morgan Huff & W.m Graves On the back of the preceeding bill was endorsed as foll. viz.t True Bill p Simon Wilmer foreman And The afd Nathaniel Hynson in his proper person comes and appears and Saith that he cannot gainsay the Indictment afd So as afd against him brought nor but that he is guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged And Thereupon Submits to the Court Therefore it is Considered by the Justice here to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in November being the Twentieth day of Said Month Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three That the afd Nathaniel Hynson being find the Sum of five pounds Current money of the Province afd To the use of his Lordship The Lord prop.ry of the Province of Maryland for Committing the assault afd In form Confest Also it is Considered by the Justices afd That the Same Nathaniel Hynson pay the Sum of Three hundred and Eighty four pounds Tobacco fees accrueing to the officers of this Court on the premisses afd &c.a Ordered by this Court here that Security be Immediately gave for the fine afd Thereupon John Gresham and James Smith both of Kent County in their proper persons cometh and Acknowledge themselves Indebted to the Right Hon.rble The Lord prop.ry in the Sum of fifty Shillings Current money of the Province of Maryland Each to be made and Leveyed on their bodies goods and Chattles Lands & Tenements Conditionally if the Same Money be not paid after Demand &c.a wherewith they Acknowledge themselves Content
