1596 CERTIFICATE OF SECRETARY OF STATE.

line County, Maryland, authorizing and directing the Coun-
ty Commissioners of Caroline County to issue bonds for
the purpose of providing funds for the erection and equip-
ment of the said school and for other matters incident to
the main purposes of the Act."

And I do certify, That at said Election 806 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 320 of the Acts of
1920, and 2,374 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; and a majority being against the adoption of the said
Act it was thereby rejected and repealed by the voters.

To the Voters of Dorchester County :

Chapter 291 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1920,
entitled:

"An Act to authorize and empower the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester County, Maryland, to issue bonds
to the amount of three hundred fifty thousand dollars for
the purpose of making general improvements in said Dor-
chester County, to wit: For the purpose of purchasing-
lands for public School sites, erecting a new public High
School building in the Town of Cambridge and building,
repairing renovating or enlarging old buildings and main-
taining a new and modern bridge over Cambridge Creek in
said Town of Cambridge connecting East Cambridge with
Cambridge proper; and constructing, improving and main-
taining the public county roads and bridges in said Dor-
chester County; and to levy and collect a tax upon the as-
sessable property of Dorchester County, as the same shall
mature."

And I do certify, That at said Election 1,122 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 291 of the Acts of
1920, and 2,425 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; and a majority being against the adoption of the said Act
it was thereby rejected and repealed by the voters.

Done at the City of Annapolis, Maryland, this
(Seal) 18th day of May, in the year nineteen

hundred and twenty-two.
