Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Defend.t James Hollis doe Recover as well the sume of Fifty poundes of Tobaccoe for a Non suit as allsoe the sume of Two hundred Twenty and Eight poundes of Tobaccoe cost of suit from the Plt John Lacock Simon Wilmer Clk Court adjournes untill to Morrow Morneing Eight a Clock Att Court held for Kent County the 29.th day of October in the Eighth Yeare of the Reigne of King William the Third Annoq Dom 1696 being adjourned from Yesterday
Ordered by this Court that William Glanvill be overseer of the High Wayes in that part of this County which Robert Browne was formerly appointed Ordered likewise that William True be Overseer to Cleare a New Road from Simon Wilmers Mill to Isaac Calk his Plantacon Isaac Bowles being by this Court appointed as Overseer of the high wayes but upon representacon to this Court that the said Bowles hath been a long time sick and now uncapable to performe the same Therfore it is Ordered by this Court that Rice Jones be overseer of the high Wayes in that part of this County to which the said Isaac Bowles was appointed viz from the head of Morgans Creek branch to Langfords Bay Mill |
