these p.rsents Chall Come Greeting Know you y.t
I John Bowles of Kent County in y.e province of
Mary Land Planter out of the naturall affection
y.t I bear unto my Dearly beloved brother Isaac
Bowles and Mary his wife of the same County &
Province Mariner and for divers others Considerations
me more Espeacially moving doe give grant Alien and
Confirme and by these p.rsents give grant Alien and Confirm
unto my sayd well beloved brother Isaac Bowles
one half of the stockes of Hoggs now runing on the sayd
plantation and one Servant named William Walker
for his full time w.ch he hath to secu and the produce
of the sayd servants Labour to be att the disposing
of the sayd Isaac only the Corn w.ch he makes
to be for the maintenance of the sayd stock of Hoggs
and also two Cowes and two Calfs w.th all their future
Thereof and one Horse Called Diamond to him
and his Heires lawfully together for Ever y.e sayd
servant Doe remaine and abide w.th the sayd Isaac
Bowles during the sayd time w.ch he hath to serve and
y.t the one Moety or one half part of the Hoggs to
remaine w.th their Increase unto y.e sayd John Bowles
his Heires and assignes for Ever This Contract To hold
remain and abide for and during y.e full terme &
time y.t the sayd servant named William Walker
shall have to serve In Testemony wheroff we
the pties above Menconed have Interchangably sett
too their hands & fixed their seales this seaventh
day of May in the year of the Reigne of William
and Mary by the grace of God of England
Scottland France & Ierland King and Queen
Deffenders of the faith &c.a and in the year of our
Lord one Thousand six hundred Eighty one John Bowles (seal)
