On motion, the question was put, That the further consideration of the said bill be postponed until tomor-

On motion, That the following be added to the said bill after the preceding amendment, " And be it enacted,
That the treasurer of the eastern shore be authorised and directed to pay annually, in semi-annual payments, to

the trustees of the Centre-Ville academy, in Queen-Anne's county, and to their successors, the sum of ——
dollars, to be applied towards the payment of a teacher or teachers in said academy; the sum of —— to the
trustees of the Elkton academy, in Caecil county, to be applied in like manner, and also the sum of —— to the
trustees of Hillsborough academy, in Caroline county, to be applied in manner aforesaid, " the question, was
put, That the first blank be filled up with the words " four hundred dollars ?" Resolved in the affirmative.

The question was then put, That the second blank be filled up with the words " four hundred dollars?" Re-
solved in the affirmative.

The question was then put, That the third blank be filled up with the words " four hundred dollars ?" Re-
solved in the affirmative.
