    The Grand Jury for this County is Discharged and allowed five hundred
pounds of Tobacco at Francis Lewis's

    The Court adjorns till Munday Morning at Nine of the Clock

George Copper
 The Grand Jury for this County and at this Day to wit
this twenty second Day of March Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred and twenty four Came & made
presentment of George Copper of said County planter to this Court in
these words Viz.t

    We the Jury Do present a Certain George Copper Senior for takeing
a false Oath before M.r Thomas Ringgold June y.e 20.th 1724 in Langford
Bay Lower hundred in S.t pauls parish
Testes Rob. Hodges
M.r Thomas Ringgold
Thomas Piner foreman

    Thereupon it was ordered by the Court here that y.e afd George Copper Enter into
Recognizance with Good Security for his Appearance to the next assises to be
held for Kent County to Answer unto what shall be objected against him on
y.e presentment afd And in the mean time to be of Good Behaviour

    Whereupon George Copper of Kent County planter & present here in Court
in his proper person Doth Acknowledge himself himself  Indebted unto the
