Rice Jones

The afd Rice Jones haveing Entered into Recognizance at
last Court for the sume of tenn pound Sterl. with D.r Richard
Simmonds and John Woodall his Suretys in Sume of five
pound Sterl Each for the appearance of the said Rice on Suspicion of fornication
he not appearing at the prayer of his said Securitys the afd Recog.cs Contd.
till next Court.  The Grand Jury return an Indictment against y.e s.d Rice for
fornication

    Ordered Warrant Issue to take the afd Rice w.ch accordingly Issued to Fran.s
Arrett to w.ch no return was made

Mary Bowers

There being an Indictment found against the s.d Mary for
feloniously Steeling one Suit of womens Muslin head Cloaths
the goods and Chattels of a Certain Joseph Young it appears
to this Court that the same Mary is Dead therefore the same Indictment abates

    Ordered that the same Marys Suretys Recognizance for her appearance
be Discharged.

    John Bowers and Samuel Gooding both of Kent County Planters at
last Court did acknowledge themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Prop.ry of
this Province his heirs and Successors in the sume of tenn pound Sterl ^Each^ to be made
and Levyed of their goods and Chattels lands and Tenements Conditionally that
if Mary Bowers Should not make her personally appearance at the then next
Court to beheld for said County to answer unto the Indictment afd And now at
this Court it appearing that the same Mary is Dead the said Suretys are Discharged
from the Recognizances afd

    Joseph Young of Kent County Gentl at last Court did acknowledge
himself Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Prop.ry of this Province his heirs and
Successors in the sume of five pound Sterl to be made and Leveyed of his Goods and
Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if Margrett Armstrong Should
not make her personal appearance at the then next Court to be held for said County
to wit at the Seventeenth Day of March Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred
and twenty three the afd Margret Armstrong appears and thereupon the afd
Joseph Young is Discharged from his Recognizance afd
