 Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Michael
Howard Gent Attorny of the Right Honourable the
Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the
same Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth Doth Come hereunto Kent County
Court before Edward Scott Esq.r & his associates his s.d Lordships Justices of
the Same County Court to wit at Chester Town in the afd County the Seventeenth
Day of November Anno Domini Seventeen hundred & twenty four
for the same Lord prop.ry Doth give the Court here to under Stand & be Informed
that Mary Wilson of S.t Pauls parish in Kent County afd the wife of
John Wilson planter the first Day of August Anno Domini Seventeen
hundred & twenty four at y.e parish afd in y.e County afd within the
Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Joan Guyer in the peace of God
of the s.d Lord prop.ry then and there Did beat wound & Evilly treat so that
of her life it was much Dispaired & other harms to her then & there Did to y.e
great Damage of the same Joan and Contrary to the peace of y.e s.d Lord
prop.ry that now is his Good Rule & Government &c.a wherefore the afd ^Attry prayeth y.e advice of the Court here in the premisses for the said^
Lord prop.ry & Due process of Law against the afd Lord prop.ry of & upon y.e premisses &c.a

    And the afd Mary here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d Coty
this Sixteenth Day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty
four Comes Into Court and Saith that She Cannot gainsay the Information
afd so as afd against her brought nor Can She Say but that She is guilty of
premisses above upon her Imposed as by the afd Information it is alledged
and thereupon Submits to y.e Court

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in s.d County this Sixteenth Day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen
hundred and twenty four that y.e afd Mary pay to the Right honourable
the Lord prop.ry of this province the Sume of fifty pounds of Tobacco as a
