   1829.                                                           RESOLUTIONS.



Passed Feb. 15, 1830.
                                            No. 35.

A Resolution authorising the exchange or disposition of Kilty's
    reports of the English Statutes, and directing the proceeds
    thereof, to be laid out in the purchase of law books.

    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
State Librarian, be, and he is hereby authorised, under the directions
of the Joint Committee on the State Library, to exchange
or otherwise dispose of, all the reports of the English
Statutes, except twenty-five copies; and the proceeds of the
same, the said Joint Committee are authorised and directed
to lay out in the purchase of law books, for the use of the
said Library.

                                            No. 36.

A Resolution in favor of Sarah Magee, of St. Mary's County,
    widow of William Magee, who was a pensioner of the
    State.

    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay unto Sarah Magee, of
Saint Mary's county, or her order, the amount of money due to
William Magee, her deceased husband, a pensioner of this
State.

                                            No. 37.

A Resolution in favor of the securities of Thomas Pollard,
                       late Sheriff of Allegany County.

    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That all
proceedings against the securities of Thomas Pollard, late
Sheriff of Allegany county, on the several judgments against
them, be suspended until the first day of January eighteen
hundred and thirty one; Provided, that nothing in this resolution
shall be construed to impair any right or security which
the State has acquired in the property of any, or all of said
securities; And provided also, that this resolution shall be null
and void, unless all of the securities of the said Thomas Pollard,
or the heirs or representatives of such of them as shall
be dead, file with the clerk of Allegany county, their written
assent to the same, on or before the first day of April next.
