160 ~  [30 January 1694/5]  Oath for Coroners

 

You shall swear that well and truely you will serve their Ma’ties King William & Queen Mary and the people of this Province of Maryland as one of their Ma’ties Coroners of this County of Somerset and therein you shall diligently and truely doe and accomplish all and every thing and things appertaining to your sd Office after the best of your skill and power both for their Ma’ties Profitt & good of the Inhabitants within the sd County & be content with the fees allowed by Act of Assembly in this Province. So help you God.
